Toronto Modular Staircase

Our first modular stair product is called the Toronto Modular Staircase, designed for the standard Toronto semi-detached renovation market. Fabricated from laser-cut 1/4” plate steel, it is fabricated to bolt together as a custom staircase kit for your home or commercial space. 5/8” steel stringer on party-wall side supports treads, while options like integrated feature wall, full glazing, or hanging bars provide support on the other side.

Base Price of Staircase $1400/per riser (Includes Survey, Engineered Shop Drawings, Fabrication & Installation)

Wood Treads: $250 per tread (For White Oak, Birch, Walnut)

OPTION #2 - Full Glazing $6K

or

OPTION #3 - Steel Hanging Rods $5K

Perforated Stair

Heavy steel plate hides connection system for custom perforated treads and glass guards, which both let the light spill in from relatively small floor cut-out.

Basement Stair

Fresh clean and light, powdercoated sawtooth stringers bolted to reclaimed wood treads.

Monolithic Stair

Steel clad monolith structure incorporates inner stringer and support for landings. Black powder coating and walnut treads / handrails.

Perforations in the monolith cladding allow LED lighting to illuminate stairs at night.

Curved Stair

Galvanized structural steel doesn’t have to be boring. This stair/deck combination gives access to the roof deck.

Floating Stair

3/8” thick steel tread/riser pieces bolt together to create a rigid floating staircase.

Stringer is concealed in wall and Bronze rods provide support as well as guard system on open side.

Galvanized Stair

Slick industrial grade galvanized steel entry stair, landing and guard.

Double stringer system conceals tread and guard fasteners.

Tread and landing pans filled with cement

Formed Stair

Brake formed tread/risers utilize guard panels as a stressed member to give the light design a rigid feel.

Black patina gives the stair a raw look.

Mono Stringer Stair

Built to fit in a tight space this mono stringer design saved some valuable square feet.

Double angle irons bolt together through tread supports to create a simple mono stringer system.

Convenience Stair

Commercial grade stair at Penguin Random house, incorporating full glass guards and smoke baffles.

Steel stringers, cement filled treads glass and stainless steel.

Powder Coated Stair

Front entry stair with C Channel, Bar grating and simple tube guards with wood hand rails. Powder coat finish.

White/Birch/Glass Stair

Sawtooth stringers give a light look incorporated with glass guards creates a rock solid structure with the solid birch treads.

Creative use of cabinetry for guard at landing opens up many possibilities!
